Don't get taken by an internet scam. We cannot control who contacts you to buy your vehicle. Be very careful in dealing with any suspicious email contacts, especially those that include unusual payment requests.
We will report new scams as we become aware of them to the FBI Internet Fraud Complaint Center. However, we cannot guarantee to catch them all. As in any transaction, do not proceed if you do not feel comfortable with the purchaser. Read this article for more info. |
